Q: Are Alaskan crew licenses required?
A: A crew license is included in the price of your trip. We do the paperwork on the boat. I.D. is required.

Q: Where is the boat located?
A: Harris Harbor, strait down the only ramp, fifth boat on the right.

Q: How do I get there?
A: It's approx. 1 mile from downtown Juneau. On a nice day its a pleasant walk. On a rainy day its a 5 minute cab ride from downtown. Just ask the cab driver to bring you to Harris Harbor.

Q: What do I bring?
A: Camera, boots if you want to be on deck. Warm clothes if on deck. If you're in the galley, its warm and dry.

Q: Whats included in the price?
A: Raingear,gloves,lunch,coffee,tea, bottled water,and a crew license.

Q: Can I sports fish?
A: Alaska law prohibits sport fishing while engaged in commercial fishing.

Q: Can I drink alchohol or smoke?
A: Longlining can be a dangerous job. Rapidly flying hooks and booze do not mix, so I run a dry boat. Once the boat is safely tied to the dock, I'd be happy to have a beer with you. A designated smoking area is provided on the stern.

Q: Can I keep the fish?
A: Fish may be picked out and marked for purchase during your trip. Halibut regulation is very strict and fish must be landed and tallied in accordance to federal law. No exceptions. After the fish is landed we can have it processed, frozen, and Fed Exed to you upon your return home. Halibut price as of 2011 price is $8.50a lb. Fed Ex and processing extra.

Q: What happens if my trip is cancelled?
A: Any payments made to hold your trip, are quickly refunded .

Q: Is there a catch limit?
A: No, we keep every legal fish (32 inch and over), and any salable bycatch (Snapper, Rockfish, Pacific Cod) Any fish we catch, that there is no market for, is gently released.

Q: How do I make reservations?
A: Call us at 907-500-2316.Cell coverage is spotty away from the dock, so please leave a message.
